Monks

Personally I don’t believe in any religion but I respect all of them and they have a kind of magnetic power on me. I’m interested in various religions and I like to know as much as possible. Even not believing anyway I feel Buddhism closer to my view of life and I like so much monks. We (western people) very often think that monks are only those living on high mountains in Tibet. It’s not like that. Monks in big Asian cities are well connected with modern life. Anyway to see a monk in a remote village walking barefoot is one of the typical shot for a photographer.
